What Happened

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials identified the person killed in a collision at US 250 near Bridgeport, OH on November 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. 29-year-old Michael Cunningham Miller was behind the wheel of a dump truck with an attached excavator as it headed eastbound on US 250. While navigating a turn, the trailer and excavator overturned into a westbound lane, striking a Dodge van operated by 55-year-old John Santimarino Jr. Santimarino died at the scene while a passenger in the van was hospitalized with serious injuries.
