What Happened

Hancock County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at County 126 near McComb, OH on August 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:06 p.m. A southbound passenger car operated by 38-year-old Lacey Corbin collided with a northbound tractor-trailer after one crossed a center line. The car was pushed into a ditch and the truck caught fire. Police extricated Corbin from the vehicle and she was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries. The driver of the truck, 47-year-old Nehemiah Evans, was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
