What Happened

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-275 in Clermont County, OH on September 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:40 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 26-year-old Johnathan Bennett was headed southbound when it failed to control its speed and collided with a Chevrolet Tiltmaster. The driver of the Chevrolet was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, 32-year-old Daysi Rodriquez, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Bennett was hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries.
