What Happened

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at US 6 near Cavalry Ave in Vermiliion Twp, OH on December 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:05 a.m. A semi-truck backing into a private driveway was struck by minivan under unclear circumstances. The driver of the van, an unidentified woman, died at the scene. Two passengers, ages 15 and 18, were hospitalized with minor injuries. The other driver was not injured.
