What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at Turner Turnpike in Creek County, OK on November 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened as an Infiniti sedan operated by 29-year-old Sarah Ready was traveling eastbound on the turnpike. The vehicle is said to have attempted a u-turn into westbound lanes before it Wass truck by a tractor-trailer. The collision ejected both Ready and a passenger, 74-year-old Betty Turner, from the vehicle. They were taken to an area hospital with injuries they later died from.
