Oregon State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 97 in Klamath County, OR on October 3rd, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 9 p.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Legacy headed northbound veered into a southbound lane before colliding with a commercial truck. The driver of the Subaru, 57-year-old Philip Walter and a passenger, 58-year-old Cynthia Vanvleet, both died at the scene. The other driver had minor injuries.
