What Happened

East Hempfield Police are investigating a collision that killed a child at Lititz Rd and Lancaster Rd in East Hempfield Twp on February 9th, 2022. They say the incident involved a westbound Ford Taurus being struck by a car carrier at the intersection around 6:15 p.m. Investigators did not reveal how the crash occurred but did confirm a 10-year-old girl died at the scene.
