What Happened

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-476 in Franklin Twp, PA on July 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Investigators are saying the incident involved six vehicles, including a Ford Mustang and tractor-trailer. The truck is said to have jackknifed and collided through a concrete median while the Mustang struck the trailer of the truck. Five other northbound vehicles were involved, however, the cause of the accident was not revealed. One occupant of the Ford, identified as 33-year-old Harry S Jackson III, suffered fatal injuries. His 34-year-old passenger was hospitalized with minor injuries. Four others were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
