What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Route 895 in Schuykill County, PA on October 14th, 2022. Police believe the incident involved a single Mack truck operated by 74-year-old John J Vanderhoff. Investigators say it was headed eastbound before veering from the road through a guardrail and into a tree for unknown reasons. The collision caused Vanderhoff fatal injuries at the scene.
