Area authorities have information related to a crash that injured a woman at I-83 in Harrisburg, PA on October 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:31 a.m. A semi-truck operated by 73-year-old James Barron reportedly began merging into a lefthand lane occupied by a Honda sedan operated by 30-year-old Kayleigh Holjes. The vehicles collided and the sedan struck a median barrier and overturned before becoming punned against the side of the truck. Holjes was extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized with injuries to the head, arm and lower body. Barron was cited for leaving a lane of travel. Additional information was not available.
