What Happened

State Police have information related to a crash that killed a man at Old Route 119 in Cambria County, PA on August 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a truck headed southbound operated by 82-year-old Ronald W Shearer collided with a flatbed truck backing out of a driveway. Police say the tow truck failed to make sure the roadway was clear as it reversed and that Shearer was not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to an area hospital after the collision and pronounced dead from his injuries. No charges were filed against the other driver.
