What Happened

Authorities are investigating a collision that injured several people at I-195 in East Providence, RI on March 4th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is alleged to have failed to stop for traffic before colliding with as many as twelve other vehicles. Police say the 13 people involved were hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the truck, identified as Jon Main, was allegedly charged with driving to endanger.
