South Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 21 near McFadden Rd in Chester County, SC on October 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. A Ford sedan traveling southbound is said to have collided head-on with a dump truck under unclear circumstances. The driver of the dump truck, a 26-year-old Rock Hill man, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The 48-year-old driver of the car suffered fatal injuries.
