What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-81 in Kingsport, TN on August 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened when a Honda operated by 59-year-old Collen Kuderewski stopped near the side of the road for unknown reasons. Police say Kuderewski was and/or the Honda were stuck by an approaching tractor-trailer, leaving Kuderewski with fatal injuries at the scene. The truck involved remained at the scene.
