Tennessee Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-40 in Kingston Springs, TN on August 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:45 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck operated by 28-year-old Wyatt Lester is alleged to have failed to stop for traffic before colliding with the rear of a Lexus 350 occupied by 57-year-old Latonya Kizart. Kizart suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The driver of the Lexus, identified as 55-year-old Garland Kizart, suffered undisclosed injuries.
