Tennessee Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at  I-40 and Gallaher Rd in Kingston, TN on January 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a van collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer under unclear circumstances around 9 a.m. In total 7 vehicles were involved in the crash that investigators believe may have occurred in part due to the position of the sun in the sky at the time, possibly decreasing visibility.
