What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a pedestrian at State Route 45 and Delaware Ave in Nashville, TN on June 12th, 2022. Police say the incident involved what the believe may have been a Toyota Camry colliding with a pedestrian crossing outside a crosswalk. Police also suspect the pedestrian may have been hit by a second vehicle before being struck by a tractor-trailer. The pedestrian, identified as 35-year-old Wenceslao Teletor-Ajualip, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Investigators allege alcohol was found at the scene on or around Teletor-Ajualip.
