What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at Sam Houston Tollway in Houston, TX on March 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. According to investigators, metal signage being hauled by a pickup truck reportedly fell off the truck into the travel lanes. Police believe oncoming drivers had limited visibility of the road debris and one vehicle struck the sign, lost control and struck struck by a tractor-trailer. Four vehicles in total collided and three people were seriously injured. They were identified as 51-year-old Abraham M Mbo, 48-year-old Maria Gabriela Higareda and 84-year-old Marion Carl Mikulenka.
