What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 1757 in Gaines County, TX on May 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:43 p.m. A Dodge Journey operated by 36-year-old Brittany Louis Jackson reportedly veered from the road and went into a skid when attempting to correct back onto the road. It then collided with a Ford Fusion operated by 26-year-old Aggie Neufeld. Neufeld was seriously injured. Jackson suffered minor injuries and was charged with Failure to Drive in a Single Lane.
