San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Bandera Rd in San Antonio, TX on December 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:32 p.m. According to investigators, 59-year-old Agustin Garcia Alvarez was walking in a travel lane on southbound Bandera when he was struck by a pickup truck that fled the scene. A Chevrolet Camaro struck Alvarez directly after and he suffered fatal injuries. Police allege suspicion that alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
