What Happened

Authorities are investigating a collision that killed two people at State Hwy 356 in Dallas, TX on October 13th, 2024. According to investigators, a Toyota 4Runner headed eastbound is alleged to have failed to maintain its lane of travel before colliding head-on with a Ford Edge traveling westbound. Officials say two passengers in the Toyota, identified as 31-year-old Alexis Augusto Betancourt Gomez and 31-year-old Nabil Jose Saab Mota, were fatally injured. Both drivers, neither publicly identified, were both seriously injured, according to reports. Reports also claim the Toyota operated was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
