What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 471 in Medina County, TX on August 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado headed southbound on FM 471 is said to have veered into a shoulder,  hitting mailbox before crashing head-on into a Nissan Frontier. Reports indicate the driver of the Nissan, identified as 71-year-old Alfred Dimick, was seriously injured. The other driver, only identified as a 21-year-old man, allegedly had minor injuries and was allegedly charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not immediately available.
