What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have identified the person killed in a collision at FM 2020 in Ector County, TX on February 6th, 2022. They say the 2:21 a.m. crash happened as a Chevrolet Tahoe headed eastbound on GM 2020 collided with an eastbound Honda CR-V for unknown reasons. The Tahoe then reportedly traveled into westbound lanes and collided with two other vehicles. The Tahoe driver was hospitalized with serious injuries while the CR-V driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. One person involved, 23-year-old Amairany Flores, died at the scene.
