What Happened

Police in the area instigating a crash that left both drivers injured at Greenville Ave in Dallas, TX on May 30th, 2023. Authorities say the incident happened around 5:02 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu operated by a 24-year-old Dallas man who was not identified was headed northbound on Greenville Ave at the time. Headed southbound was a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder operated by 62-year-old Amal Al Ameri. It has been alleged the Malibu collided with the Eclipse as it was turning left onto Bryan Parkway. The impact is believed to have caused the Malibu to crash into a nearby fire hydrant, leaving the Dallas man with suspected minor injuries. Al Ameri was more seriously injured, according to police. Police further allege suspicion the Dallas man may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Additional information was not available.
