Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at Division St in Arlington, TX on November 30th, 2023. Officials believe the incident happened around 1:29 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Corvette operated by 34-year-old Deya Alhwaidi was westbound on Division St. At the same time, a Toyota Tacoma was eastbound. Reports say the Corvette, possibly due to wet roads, lost control and slid sideways into eastbound lanes. From there, police say the vehicle collided with the Toyota, the crash leaving 22-year-old Corvette passenger, Amir Al Hweeday, with injuries that later became fatal. Police say Alhwaidi was seriously injured while the other driver, who was not publicly identified, was uninjured. Additional details were not available.
