What Happened

Laredo Police are investigating a collision that killed a woman at Los Presidentes Ave in Laredo, TX on July 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. Investigators believe a woman who was jogging or exercising in or near the roadway was struck by a pickup truck. The woman, identified as 59-year-old Ana Laura Garza, was taken to an area hospital with injuries she died from. Police say the pickup truck and driver remained at the scene for authorities and additional information was not available.
