What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 195 in Williamson County, TX on July 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:14 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 27-year-old Andres Bermejo was was headed southbound on State Hwy 105 when it veered from its lane and struck the left rear of a Nissan Versa operated by 21-year-old Andrea Santos Aguilera . The impact pushed the Nissan into a barrow ditch where it overturned into a culvert, leaving Aguilera with fatal injuries. Bermejo was reportedly uninjured and reports indicate an Intoxication Manslaughter charge was recommended and/or issued.
