What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least three people at FM 933 in Hill County, TX on July 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:48 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle headed northbound is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with a second motorcycle which had allegedly come to a sudden stop. The impact is said to have pushed the vehicles from the road into a ditch and fence. Authorities say the driver of the second motorcycle, identified as 37-year-old Andrew Mendoza, was seriously injured. Reports say the other driver and their passenger were both also seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
