What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-20 in Nolan County, TX on June 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Rav4 occupied by 22-year-old Andrew William Luna had been headed eastbound on a north service road at the time. Police say for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway, traveling into a south barrow ditch. From there, the vehicle collided with a concrete culvert, causing it to go airborne. It then hit an sig and overturned multiple times. Luna suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
