What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at FM 973 in Travis County, TX on August 13th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:54 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with the rear of a northbound Cadillac Eldorado. Reports say the impact caused an approaching Toyota to collide with the GMC, leaving 32-year-old driver, Annaliese Pirie, was seriously injured. There were allegedly no other reported injuries and sources indicate a Failure to Control Speed charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the GMC.
