What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-10 in Pecos County, TX on February 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:18 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was eastbound on I-10 before veering into an improved shoulder in an offer to avoid a vehicle headed westbound in the eastbound lanes. That vehicle, a Jeep Liberty, was allegedly evading police at the time.
