Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at US 62 in Lubbock County, TX on August 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 41-year-old Arturo Olivarez was stopped at the stop sign for County Rd 7300. Headed northeast on US 62 was a commercial truck. Police allege the Dodge proceeding into the intersection into the path of the truck, the vehicle vehicles colliding in the process.
