What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Story Rd in Irving, TX on March 5th, 2022. Police are saying the incident happened around 9:50 p.m. According to their investigation, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 19-year-old Irving man was headed northbound in the southbound lanes of Story Road before it collided with a Chevrolet Impala occupied by 6 people, all of whom were reportedly seriously injured. Two of the injured were identified as 41-year-old Belinda Cerros and Elmer Vazquez. The 19-year-old was less seriously injured and records indicate charges for Intoxication Assault and Accident Involving Serious Bodily injury were recommended and/or issued.
