What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 277 in Schleicher County, TX on August 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. A Toyota Tacoma operated by 42-year-old Benjamin Boyer reportedly veered from the road at a curve into a shoulder before attempting to correct back onto the road. It then overturned and Boyer, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
