Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Forest Drive East in New Caney, TX on November 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:31 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 17-year-old male was headed northbound on Forest Dr before veering into a southbound lane and colliding head-on with a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 34-year-old Bethany Romine. Romine was seriously injured in the collision with the 17-year-old was not injured. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against the teen driver.
