What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 193 in Crosby County, TX on September 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:46 p.m. A Polaris General operated by 65-year-old Billy Don Berry was headed westbound in a grassy area when a front wheel struck a road sign. This caused the vehicle to lose control and Berry was ejected as it overturned. He suffered fatal injuries in the incident. Investigators suspect that speed and alcohol may have played factors in the crash.
