Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 123 in Guadalupe County, TX on November 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:03 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 58-year-old Austin woman was stopped at a private drive while attempting to make a left turn. A box truck operated by 29-year-old Blake Cornell was headed southbound when the tractor-trailer failed to yield and pulled out into the path of the box truck. Both vehicles collided, causing fatal injuries to Colonel. The other driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
