Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that killed a driver at Hwy 96 in Jasper, TX on April 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. According to police, a Ford pickup truck was headed southbound when crossed into an oncoming lane and collided with a mobile home being towed by a heavy duty truck. The impact sent the Ford into a nearby Hino box truck, causing fatal injuries to the driver. The driver was identified as 88-year-old Bobby Hamilton.
