Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Great Trinity Forest Way in Dallas, TX on September 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:22 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 55-year-old Bobby Ray Johunkin Jr was headed eastbound as another vehicle made an unsafe lane change right of center. The Chevrolet collided with a commercial truck ahead operated by a 38-year-old Fort Worth man. The collision caused injuries that Johunkin later died from.
