Officials say the incident happened around 10:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 3500 was southbound on FM 17 prior to losing control on a road with a "pre-existing road condition." The vehicle is said to have lost control while navigating a curve, traveling into a barrow ditch and striking a culvert. As a result, the vehicle overturned into a nearby pipe fence before coming to rest upright, reports say.
