What Happened

Corpus Christi Police identified the person killed in a collision at Chapman Ranch Rd in Corpus Christi, TX on September 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:37 p.m. and left 46-year-old Border Patrol agent, Brandon Brown fatally injured. Investigators say a vehicle operated by 39-year-old Eva Rosa was allegedly traveling westbound in an eastbound lane of travel prior to colliding head-on with a vehicle occupied by Brown. Both were trapped in their vehicles and once extricated, hospitalized for treatment. Brown later died from his injuries while Rosa was seriously injured, reports say.
