What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 20 in Porter County, IN on August 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. A Ford Escape was headed westbound at a high rate of speed when it veered into a right turn lane passing vehicles stopped at a red light. It then collided with an eastbound semi-truck that was turning north off the highway. The driver, 25-year-old Brandon Seay, suffered fatal injuries.
