What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-40 in Gray County, TX on April 26th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 2:16 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed eastbound is alleged to have collided with a Chevrolet Camaro that was disabled following a separate accident. Officials say 21-year-old Camaro operator, identified as Bryan Ordaz-Reyes and 19-year-old passenger Braxton Amador, were both fatally injured. The truck operator was not injured. Authorities did not have additional information available.
