Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1209 in Bastrop County, TX on April 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:02 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima operated by 32-year-old Brenden Atkins was headed southbound on FM 1209 before proceeding to make a left turn. As it turned, it collided with a Ford pickup truck operated by 35-year-old Jose Vasquez Depaz. Depaz was evaluated for possible injuries while police say Atkins had serious injuries.
