What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Sam Houston Pkwy in Houston, TX on November 4th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 8:10 p.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 48-year-old Brett Deanovich reportedly veered from its lane and collided with the rear of a trailer being towed by a commercial truck. It then lost control and struck a retaining wall and a welding machine that flew out of the bed of the truck onto the roadway. Deanovich suffered serious injuries in the collision. The other driver, as 31-year-old Louisville, KY man, was not injured.
