Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 249 in Montgomery County, TX on October 5th, 2024. Officials believe it happened around 4:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Sorento headed southbound at TX 249 is alleged to have lost control while navigating a curve in the road at a high rate of speed. Reports say the vehicle struck a guardrail, causing it to come to rest in a shoulder. Officials say 23-year-old occupant of the vehicle had minor injuries while a second 23-year-old occupant was fatally injured.
