Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Industrial Blvd in Abilene, TX on September 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:52 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500  was westbound before colliding with a Ford Escort in a turn lane. The collision left an occupant of the Dodge,  26-year-old Brittany Day, with suspected serious injuries. The driver of the Dodge, a 25-year-old male who was not publicly identified, was not injured, according to police. Sources indicate Intoxicated Assault, Evading and Leaving the Scene of an Accident were charges that were recommended and/or issued against the driver.
