What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 69 in Jacksonville, TX on August 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Forte operated by 29-year-old Brittany Tamar Parramore was reportedly waiting to turn left onto South Jackson St while waiting at the intersection with Bolton St. The vehicle is alleged yo have failed to yield and entered into the intersection, colliding with a GMC C7500 operated by a 38-year-old Winona man. Parramore is said to have suffered serious injuries while the other driver was uninjured. A charge of Failure to Yield Right of Way was recommended and/or issued.
