What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at NW Military Hwy in San Antonio, TX on November 11th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. A truck stopped in a left turn facing southbound is said to have had a flashing yellow arrow when it entered the intersection near Wurzbach Pkwy. A motorcycle operated by 20-year-old Caleb Krauchunas was headed northbound on NW Military Hwy and entered the intersection while truck entered on the flashing light. Police say it turned red and both vehicles collided, ejecting  Krauchunas from the bike. The driver of the truck attempted to render aid however Krauchunas died from his injuries at the scene. Additional information was not available.
