What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 59 in Marshall, TX on December 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:15 p.m. Investigators say a northbound Dodge Ram was nearing the Loop 390 intersection as a Ford Fusion headed southbound on US 59. Reports allege the Ford may have failed to yield right of way before proceeding into the intersection on a left turn, turning into the path of the approaching Dodge. The two vehicles collided, the collision leaving 25-year-old Ford operator, Callie Flynn, fatally injured. The driver of the Dodge, who was not publicly identified, had unknown injuries.
